Dada visited Lola’s house last May 15. Who is Dada, by the way? She is the 17-year-old (or 16?) daughter of Ate Ima. We are happy to meet her again after a very long time. I believe she was still a baby when I first saw her but now she is already in college and she is the incumbent SK chairman of Brgy. San Vicente and the president of the association of SK chairmans of Biñan. It’s been many years, really! She stayed in the house for just several minutes.
That night also, long before Dada arrived, Jimmy, a rarely-seen cousin too, spent the evening with us for the first time in a casual chat. Ironically, both of them live just adjacent to our barangay.
